Redesign of Software from a Aestheticand Usability standpoint.
If your project looked as good as the website, you would be in better shape. The second I started using the demo, I was ready to get out. It didn't look like something I could trust to work and functions that I expected to be available just weren't there. (For instance, "cancel" when you decide not to add a new document after all.) Do you guys want some help?
With the latest release we were able to clean up the majority of the buttons, we also added a new theme called tweeter. We also made it a lot easier for new themes to be created.

Unfortunately no. The one available for download was and I think still is 1.2.5.7
Where can I get the 1.2.6 beta... I'd be happy to extend my work to it ... and then anyone can play with it using the css file to give it their own choice of looks :) -

UI redesign is ok, but please keep it simple and compatible with old browsers like IE6 and possible IE5.

Efrain, that is exactly what needs to be done.

Maybe if you add IDs to the elements, and implement a basic CSS, then users would help with CSS based themes, just a thought.
In general, you've done a good work, keep going.

Jeana,
The UI is in a bit of limbo right now. I made a few improvements to it in our latest SVN development version, but more changes need to be done. I don't think a lot of UI re-design is going to happen to the 1.2.x versions. At some point, ODM will be re-written from scratch, and that UI will be modern.
