  1. I would never trust data on a shared server like Hostgator. Amazon S3 would be my choice, so make it work with that.

  4. Authorization failed ....

    When an user uploaded any file after that admin is authorizing that file during the authorization its showing option to all users , while already an user uploaded that file. which means admin can authorized file to particular user who has uploaded only not for all.

  6. Display the files hash value when displaying file properties

    Automatically calculate the hash value when a file is loaded, embed the hash it in emails related to authorizing the document, and include it when the file list is exported. This is an important document trail to confirm that things are OK, especially if there is a database corruption and the system is rebuilt.

    Go to home page and "FIlter by" the new UDF

    Results in:

  15. Allow files to be stored on LAN server

    Instead of hosting the files on the internet, an organisation should be able to utilise their own server in storing their files.
    That way it would only be accessible within the organisation, AND without internet.

  17. Additions to the REVIEW function

    (1) When REVIEW is switched ON - an uploaded file is invisible until it has become authorised, can the file appear on the users home screen as if they had the NONE permission assigned with a note stating "awaiting authorisation"?

    (2) A "Checked In" file moves into the authorisation pool, if it is rejected the entire file history is rejected - can only the checked in file be rejected and the original file still be available to users?

  19. put more than 1 object in your demo database

    Trying to evaluate whether OpenDocMan is something for my company, I would be more impressed with a couple of demos: one with a little (growing) list of documents, one with a medium size (20-30ish) list and one with a huge list.

  20. Per user theme

    Allow users to select theme that suits their browser.

    Twitter theme, for example, do not render properly in IE while it works fine in Chrome. Some users will prefer (or forced ) to work in IE while other users can be just fine with another browser. Setting one theme for whole site forces administrator to select theme that suites all used browsers.
