    Document Change Request Workaround:

At present there is no formal document change request built into ODM but you could add a section to the document control process procedure.

    1. Any user wishing to make a change checks out a document.
    2. Edit the document telling what needs changing.
Perhaps the user could insert the words Document Change Request above the title then drop down to where the problem(s) is/are and insert a row of asterisks near to the change; cut and paste in the offending sections. Highlight and write any notes required to make the change needed and close then out the section with another row of stars.
    3. Save the file and check it back into the system.
    4. The file belongs to a department so that department reviewer will be notified that a review is necessary and decide if the changes requested are warranted.
    5. The reviewer can add notes and then “reject” the document
    6. The rejection routes the document to the owner who reads the notes and the reason for rejection and begins the process of updating the document.

if you are the admin you can just put the files into the ODM folder you designated during setup on your server. You will then have to use ODM to set permissions, comments, department, owner, etc.
