I am in the process of migrating all mysql_query() calls into PDO. Once that is completed and working, postgres may be usable with some light query fixing.

Hi Jason,
Thanks for the comments. I have put quite a bit of time into an experiment at "modernizing" the current version of OpenDocMan but there are many technical challenges with the architecture. As you mentioned it really requires some sort of re-write, which is what we are doing. The modernization will still be done at some point, but the plan going forward is to release our new re-write version to the public in 3-6 months as a SaaS service and then maintain the open source version. At some point the new features form the SaaS version will filter down into the free version. Its been an interesting journey with its share of criticisms and compliments. I would close by saying the OpenDocMan project has been open for code submissions for years and has had very little participation. That is partly my fault for not championing that as much as I should have. We have a lot of users all over the world, many of whom have customized the software to their liking, but very little has filtered back to the core codebase.

If you copy the "includes/languages/english.php" file and then translate it I can include it in the next release.

Why can't you get it working with an S3 server? OpenDocMan does not require a Hostgator account.

A closed bug is not necessarily a deployed fix. It just means that a branch contains the fix and has been pushed up to github, but it will not show up on the demo site until it is merged into a release and I go in and update the demo version.

You can do this currently. If you install inside your LAN, you can have your files stored anywhere inside your LAN that can be written to by the web server.

It was a hope that the new sub-Select UDF would be used for any sort of nested list customization needed such as sub-categories.

Reviewers should be added as subscribers to any new files added by default, as well as the file owner.

We do have a custom backup service we offer to our hosted customers which backs up their code, database, and files to an off-site storage system. We may at some point release that.

You should try adding a UDF, which I believe will accomplish what you need.
Where would the time and signature show up?
